Here's my first night of Stitching on Barnabee's Quest for the SAL. It's such a cute piece. I had to blow the pic up a bit so you could see the bee and butterfly (click it). It's a smaller piece than I thought--only about 3.5 inches across.
I also learned that the hive-like structure they used to keep bees in is called a skep.

You're off to a wonderful start. This is such an adorable project. :)
Looks like a wonderful Stitch Michele. Love the colours.
Great start! I didn't get nearly that much done last night. Just the border. I was surprised it was so small across as well. I double-checked my pattern to make sure I hadn't done something weird!
When this popped up in my Bloglines I was so thrilled to see it. Can I join your SAL. I started this years ago and never finished it. I think I must have gotten about halfway through the second chart and then stopped. I love bee hive designs, too! I will dig mine out this weekend.
You are off to a flying start. You must have done twice as much as I have. :) Looking forward to seeing your progress through the SAL.
Take care.
Very beautiful! I am in this SAL too, but had not heard that you were - nice to meet you!
