It's a boy!

Today the doctor did a quick ultrasound, and we could tell it was a boy! The baby was head down and facing outward, so we got to see a face, arms, legs, and other pertinent parts. That was a heart-touching moment. I wanted a girl, but a boy will work! Now I can get rid of all that dollhouse stuff I was saving. And I guess I won't get my cross stitching partner; boys generally aren't interested in that sort of thing.

So do you think it would be too weird to name the kid Logan? (Wolverine from X-Men is named Logan.)

Congratulations!!! Boys are great (I have three)! No, they usually don't like stitching unfortunately. I've tried several times! LOL! :) Congrats again!!

Well congratulations! Obviously kids of both genders are a delight, but in my (humble) experience, boys are generally easier. As in less demanding across the spectrum. I've heard the same from other moms - though there are always the exceptions! LOL. And boys can enjoy cross stitching! My eldest likes to do it now & again, and just look at Alex, Lelia's son - he's stitched a Mirabella on his own!

Congratulations! I think Logan is a wonderful name! Little boys are fun. Mine are pretty odd sometimes, but they're still great.

Congratulations to you and your husband!

Boys are lots of fun and they really love their moms. My son is a lot more attached to me than my daughter. He also loves looking at my stitching and knitting--I'm not sure that he'll ever do either but at least he'll appreciate them.

And Logan is an awesome name(it's my son's name).

Logan is a great name. Are you naming him after Wolverine? Boys can cross stitch too...my DH knits and stitches. So there is hope for a stitching son.

Congrats!!! Boys are wonderful! And I wouldn't throw out all your stash-my 12yr old boy likes to knit and cross stitch. Unfortunately he is color blind, so he struggles with the cross stitch, but he does like working with his hands.

Don't throw out the dollhouse stuff, either....he might be a budding architect someday!! Congrats on finding out the sex. I think Logan is a fine name (my sister, who is 26, dated a boy named Logan, with no X-Men connection).....of course, I also have a friend who named her son Kieran Aragorn, and I didn't bat an eye then, either.... ;)

Congratulations!

Logan is a great name for a little boy... I wouldn't worry too much about the Wolverine issue. I mean, it's not like you're naming him Magneto or something like that. *lol* Logan is a normal name and was around for years before X Men came to be.
