Here's the finished product of Little Lambs by Shepherd's Bush. I used some ribbon I scavenged from Logan's baby shower to finish it up, which I think appropriate. I just love this little piece. It's the first thing I've stitched with his name on it. Thanks so much, Carol, for sending me the chart ASAP!
I need a bigger basket for my needlerolls!
There's a discussion on the Wagon BB about the discontinuation of the DMC color cards with the actual threads on them. I've wanted one for a long time now, so I went ahead and ordered one from the DMC website. I can't imagine that a printed card would be as helpful.
Mini vacation: Matt and I took off tomorrow to get ready for our weekend getaway to San Antonio. It'll be the first time I'm away from Logan. Eek! I'm sure I'll manage, but I'll miss him.

Wow - you stitched it up before I even heard you had received the chart!
Oh dear, I'm going to have to order one of the DMC cards, too. I have a printed one, and it just does not "do" it.
You stitched and finished that in record time! I love it!!
I have a color card and I use it A LOT. Mine is from 2002, so it's current regarding the regular embroider floss. The only things I don't have are all the specialty threads.
I don't think I'll try to find the 2006 version, even though the spendy side of my brain is saying "DISCONTINUED!! MUST FIND IT!!" The smarter side of my brain is saying "just stick with the one I have"...LOL!
I saw your needleroll on the Monthly Finishing Challenge blog so came over to visit. Nice blog and your needleroll is very pretty. Sorry to hear your husband got laid off. I hope he finds new employment very soon.
Also please pass hugs to your nanny - very sad for her.
Enjoy your trip top San Antonio.
Just an adorable needleroll! Lovely job Michelle!
This roll is just lovely! I have 3 Sheperd's Bush needle rolls sitting in my drawer waiting for me to have the time!
What an adorable needleroll! It is so cute. Congrats on the finish.
Very nice. Any suggestions on a site to instruct on how to do a needleroll. Thanks
