I joined the Monthly Finishing Challenge. I figured a pinkeep was easy enough! This is my second one. Jump for Joy by Just Nan is the only small piece I have unfinished or unframed, so it was a likely candidate (my TWs will get framed). I didn't have any ribbon that really matched the colors, but I got to use some edging that Marie sent me in an exchange. Matt helped me choose the color of pins, and it was his idea to alternate the pinks. I do need to find some better pins for future projects. All I have are these Dritz pearlized pins from Wal-Mart.

It's so pretty! I could only find Dritz pins at JoAnns for my pinkeep.
Actually, pretty pins were the reason I didn't join the monthly challenge ... they only sell incredibly ugly plastic pins here (I've looked everywhere!) and mail-ordering them gets expensive. I'll stock up when we're in Maine this summer!
Your pinkeep is beautiful, and I love the alternating pinks - good call on Matt's part.
That looks great, Michelle! And the finishing challenge sounds like a great idea...
It looks gorgeous. Wish I could do finishing like that. Whenever I try to do finishing it ends up looking like something chewed on it, lol.
Very pretty pinkeep!
What an adorable finish!
You did a GREAT job :) Congratulations :)
So cute! I got this pattern for Christmas, so I may have to dig it out now!
