Finishing of Stitchie Witchie
I completed the finishing of Stitchie Witchie by Brooke Nolan as a rather large pinkeep. I used some fabric and ribbon that I received in an exchange too!
Remember Zelda's Fancy Hat I was selling in a charity auction at work? It sold for $26, and the minimum bid was $25. Rather disappointing.
I'm still searching for the right colors of ribbon to finish the needlerolls. So far Wal-Mart, Joann's, and Hobby Lobby have not had what I'm looking for. I even looked online and haven't had any luck yet.

I love how you finished Stitchie Witchie! Congrats on an adorable finish! And don't feel dis-heartened about the auction... the hat was gorgeous and I think it was just a case of people not really understanding just how special it is. I bet, if you had done an online auction via your blog, you'd have gotten a LOT more :)
Great finish! Love the backing fabric. :D
I have I don't know how many spools of ribbon and saved scraps and 9 times out of 10 I don't have the color I want.
Witchie is too cute. I love the backing fabric...purple is the greatest.
The finishing is gorgeous, well done! Sorry the auction was disappointing - I agree with Zeb, non-stitchers just don't grasp how invaluable a stitched item can be.
***gasp*** That spider fabric is awesome! Wonderful finish, Michelle!
