Summer Faerie HD

I finished Summer Faerie by Teresa Wentzler a few months ago. This is the fourth and final faerie in the series. I'm considering sending these four to Jill Rensel for framing. I'm sure she'd do a good job with them, and I could get them done early as a Christmas present to myself (Matt likes these easy decisions).

I'm working on Santa's Village by Country Cottage Needleworks at the moment. I changed the piece to be three across instead of four across, and now that the pieces in the series have been revealed, I'm not sure I like the arrangement. This will teach me not to work on a "mystery" set again. I never have good luck with them.

I also have various WIPs I should be working on, but a new TW is more appealing. Hm...

World of Warcraft

To answer Zeb, I'm playing on the Antonidas server and going the peaceful druid route -- no kills. I've done raiding, and I realized that I hated it. Go through a rote set of instructions with no deviation from the program and lots of stress -- what's fun in that? I'm just playing alone and talking to guild members and going the no-stress route. Much more fun.

Web Authoring

I use FrontPage as a WYSIWYG editor, so if anyone can recommend an easy and cheap HTML authoring tool, please let me know. FrontPage is acting up again.

Congrats on finishing Summer Faerie! She was my first TW piece and is still one of my favorites. I'll bet Jill Rensel would do an awesome job with all four.

Such beautiful stitching :)
I'm yet to stump up the courage to stitch TW's larger designs, but I can enjoy your finishes (I visit your gallery often to drool!)

It's funny you mention doing druid; I recently picked up an elite rare weapon that only druids and monk can use, so was contemplating starting a druid; will let you know how I get on :)

re: the editor, there are a number out there, paid and free. I haven't really investigated any in a number of years because for a while now I've been running my site using Wordpress. Install Wordpress (most hosting companies already have the package available so it's a simple one or two click process and boom, you have Wordpress) fine a theme I like, tweak it and voila. Worth giving it a go?

Summer Faerie looks great - and I think the Christmas present idea is a good one.

Good luck with the HTML authoring program. I don't know of one as I write my own. I would offer to look at it for you, but I only know the basics, and I'm a little rusty. I wish you success though. And great job on the stitching. The fairy is lovely. I'm sorry you don't like the mystery project. I'm hesitant to do one, for that very reason.

Your Summer Faerie is gorgeous!!! Congratulations on your finish, it would be lovely to have all four in the series framed the same :)

I'm sure Jill will make wonderful frames for all four.
